Week : ice climbing - Val de Cogne - Italia
-The "Valle di Cogne" in Italy is a paradise for ice climbersl. Cogne is located at one hour an Half from chamonix by car. In fact we will climb in the "Valnontey" and the "vallone di Valeille" two parallels valleys . The place is wild and beautiful, here it is not rare to climb under the eyes of quiet chamois!! The ice routes are located all along these two valleys on 5 Kms . It is magic! Thanks toThe multitude of lines it's possible to climb alone. There is approximately one hundred routes easy of access in this fantastic area .

Equipement discover, Use of ropes and ropes technique, knots, safety, belay, abseiling, Abalakov… Techniques of climb, lead climbing, managing a course day.
- meeting point in Chamonix Sunday at 4 p.m./Préparation of the week and checking of the equipement, if necessary we rent equipement in Chamonix /Let's go to Cogne !!
- Monday to Friday we will climb one or two routes diférents each day that we will choose according to the conditions, of your level and your motivations, here the cascades are numerous and all the difficulties are represented!!
- Return Friday in Chamonix at the end of the day. |
-Price : 750 € Included the organization, transport, the technical
equipement (Ice axe, crampons, harness, helmet, not the mountain shoes you can rent it in chamonix), the mountain guide.
-Lodging, we will stay in a hotel in the village of Cogne, the price is around 50€ for the night with diner and breakfast.
